The National Center for Biomodels (NCB), part of the National Institutes of Applied Research, is Taiwan's first internationally certified supplier of SPF laboratory rodents. NCB offers diverse animal resources and testing services focused on scientific advancement and animal welfare, supporting pre-clinical evaluation for drugs, medical devices, and biotech products.

The Biomedical Translation Research Center of Academia Sinica aims to empower the translation of basic research into novel drugs, medical devices, and biotechnology products by providing advanced shared instrumentation platforms and technical services. It provides services in various disease areas, including efficacy evaluation, toxicology analysis, disease model development, and preclinical development.

Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) supports biomedical product development and preclinical trials with services like cell therapy, protein and nucleic acid drugs, specialized media, and natural products. It offers GXP production, quality control, animal studies, and clinical trial manufacturing, plus AI-powered platforms for medical data analysis and precision medicine. ITRI provides comprehensive support from R&D to clinical trials.

The Development Center for Biotechnology (DCB) possesses extensive R&D capabilities encompassing small molecules, proteins, antibody therapeutics, as well as cell, gene, and nucleic acid-based drug development. The Center offers a broad-spectrum platform supporting drug design, formulation development, quality analysis, CMC processes, pilot-scale manufacturing, and technology transfer. Leveraging expertise in biotechnology research, production, and regulatory compliance, the Center collaborates with industry and academic partners to expedite the advancement of biopharmaceuticals and novel therapies.

The National Health Research Institutes (NHRI) provides new drug development services for small molecules, biologics, nucleic acid drugs, as well as cell and gene therapies, covering areas such as cancer, infectious diseases, neurodegeneration, immune, and metabolic disorders. NHRI possesses capabilities in target validation, efficacy and toxicology studies, animal modeling, drug screening, and bioassays, helping to accelerate preclinical development.
